
Ivan Lombardi
Seeking new opportunities, he later relocated to Europe and established himself as a versatile freelance musician, participating in numerous tours, TV shows, studio sessions, and collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Lilian Boutte, Eric Marienthal, Gene Calderazzo, Franco Ambrosetti, Mitchell Forman, Ralph Humphrey, Eileina Dennis, Rick Margitza, Jon Davies, Jeff Richman, Martha Duarte, Judith Emeline and many others.
Driven by a passion for continuous growth, he pursued further education and obtained a degree in Music Pedagogy from the classical conservatory of Lugano in Switzerland and a Master's Degree in Double Bass Performance from the conservatory of Pavia, Italy.
Under the mentorship of the late Dick Grove, founder of the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, Ivan studied jazz composition and arrangement.
Having served as the Musical Director for a Swiss Italian Big Band for eight years, Ivan later relocated to Asia, where he continued to pursue his artistic endeavors in bass improvisation, education, composition, arranging, and further honing his piano skills.
